Кормушка должна иметь большую вместительность, чтобы ненасытная рыба дольше находилась в месте ловли. Вес не должен быть большим, иначе она погрузнет в илистой почве. В то же время снасть не должно сносить течением, если оно есть в месте рыбалки.

Прикормка для леща также очень важна. Здесь нужно учитывать не только его предпочтения, но и другие природные факторы. Прикормка должна быть вкусной и ароматной, чтобы привлекать больше рыбы, но главным условием является то, что ее должно быть много.
Чтобы удержать леща на месте ловли дольше, нужно чтобы в смеси не было крупных частиц, которыми он может быстро насытиться. Идеальным вариантом будет, если просеять ее через сито.

Ловля леща в августе не сильно отличается от июльской. Предпочтения рыбы практически не меняются, так как большую часть этого периода господствует такая же жара.
Лещ в августе предпочитает пребывать в глубоких местах с минимальным течением с заиленным и глинистым дном.
Наилучшим временем, в которое осуществляется ловля леща в августе, считается ночной период. После наступления сумерек и до рассвета, а также в непогоду рыба может подходить до самого берега водоема.
Ловить леща в августе можно на фидерную снасть. При выборе этого способа рекомендуется применять несимметрическую петлю в качестве оснастки.
