Долгое время поимка толстолобика оставалась для меня недосягаемой мечтой «как поймать толстолобика». Первый раз я увидел этого гиганта еще в далеком детстве. Сидя на помосте, я наблюдал за дрейфующими под поверхностью воды «бревнами», и во мне разгорался дикий азарт.
Конечно же, мне захотелось поймать такую большую рыбу, или хотя бы просто подержать немного на крючке, прежде чем она сойдет…
Но как я не пытался, ничего у меня не выходило. Ни на донку, ни на поплавочную удочку, ни на живца эта рыба не ловилась.
Бывалые рыболовы, только и делали что хохотали, глядя на мои безуспешные попытки.
Потом, конечно, мне объяснили, что толстолобика ловят исключительно сетками и косами, и на обычные приманки он не клюет.
Несмотря на внушительные размеры, питается он планктоном — микроскопическими живыми организмами, что обитают в толще воды.
Этим толстолобик похож на кита. Океанический гигант тоже производит впечатление большого, хищного чудовища, но на самом деле он питается исключительно планктоном. Осознав все факты, я смирился с мыслью, что ловить лобатого просто невозможно.
Я смирился, а кто-то нет. Кто-то не прекращал попыток найти способ целенаправленно ловить толстолобика «честным» способом.
И вот, в какой-то момент, этот кто-то замешал мелкие фракции кормовых смесей, сухое молоко, манку, добавил к этому всему много связующего в виде крахмала, спрессовал получившуюся субстанцию в плотный цилиндр, и попробовал использовать сие изобретение, как приманку для толстолобика.
Приманка на толстолобика
Идея была в том, чтобы связующее и мелкие твердые частички образовывали в воде облачко мути, напоминающее планктона. И это сработало!
Толстолобик действительно подходил к приманке, начинал жадно всасывать фальшивый планктон, а вместе с ним и крючки, свободно болтающиеся на коротких поводках.
Ну а дальше, при попытке выплюнуть посторонний предмет (крючок), толстолобик самозасекался. Вот так была изобретена приманка, которая положила конец легендарной неуловимости лобатого. Изобретенная приманка получила название технопланктон.
Вот уже полтора десятка лет, многие рыболовы, в числе которых нахожусь и я, используют ее для целенаправленной охоты за одной из самых крупных и сильных рыб, обитающих в наших водоемах.
Лично для меня, эта рыбалка сейчас является приоритетной.
В летнее время, большую часть выездов я посвящаю лобатому, лишь иногда выбираясь на карповую рыбалку.
А в августе, когда активность излюбленного объекта охоты достигает своего апогея, «забиваю» даже на карпа. Ловить толстолобика намного интереснее и азартнее.
Как поймать толстолобика: на хорошем водоеме в августе или в начале сентября можно наловить до 3-х десятков лобатых, получив свою сверхдозу адреналина.
На лобатого выезжаю исключительно с поплавочной снастью. Знаю, что некоторыми практикуется ловля толстолоба со дна. Я тоже пробовал использовать донные монтажи, но после нескольких рыбалок сделал вывод, что они заметно проигрывают в уловистости снасти с поплавком.
Да, несомненно, толстолобик далеко не всегда питается в приповерхностных слоях. Во второй половине осени, весь планктон сосредотачивается у дна, и рыба тянется за ним. Соответственно, приманка тоже должна быть у дна.
Но так как ловить толстолобиков приходится в основном на прудах, максимальные глубины в которых 3-3.5 м (обычно и того меньше), опустить технопланктон ко дну можно просто передвинув ограничительный стопор на леске поплавочной снасти.
Так почему же оснастка-тремпель с технопланктоном, болтающаяся в полуметре от дна, работает лучше, чем любая донная вариация на тему?
Давайте просто взглянем на анатомические особенности строения головы толстолобика.
Очевидно, что его пасть плохо приспособлена для того, чтобы подбирать корм со дна.
Ему гораздо удобнее питаться, если кормовой объект находится немного выше.
Поэтому, дрейфующим у самого дна рыбам, удобно обсасывать нижние края технопланктона, если он висит в 40-50 см над дном, а не лежит на нем.
Как поймать толстолобика: немножко о снастях
Толстолобик – очень пугливая рыба, способная издалека заметить рыболова. Если его что-то смутит, стая просто отойдет от приманки, какой бы вкусной и пахучей она не была, и вы не дождетесь заветной поклевки. Поэтому, снасть должна обеспечивать дальний заброс.
Так как все элементы оснастки в совокупности весят порядка 150 г, удилище должно быть не только длинным, но и достаточно мощным.
Изначально под ловлю толстолобика я приспособил 4-х метровую китайскую удочку из стеклопластика.
Пару раз, половив на нее, понял, что хоть это хоть и самый дешевый, но далеко не самый лучший вариант.
Поэтому, раскошелился на недорогое фидерное удилище, длиной 3.9 м. и верхним тестом 220 грамм. Оно полностью подошло под мою задачу.
Катушку поставил фидерную, размером 5000, с задним фрикционом и байтранером. На шпулю намотал леску, диамтером 0.35 м. Не плетеную, обычную. Сделал это осознанно.
Чуйка при ловле лобатого не нужна, и растяжимость монолески играет нам только на руку: снасть будет эффективнее гасить рывки сильной рыбы.
Кстати, обычная леска лучше скользит по пропускным кольцам, следовательно, возрастает дальность забросов. Да, это всего, каких то 2-3 метра, но поверьте, они могут решить многое…
Технопланктон: покупать или готовить самостоятельно?
Сейчас не проблематично купить технопланктон. Его можно приобрести в обычных магазинах, заказать через интернет.
Выбор просто огромен! Можно купить приманки с любым вкусом и запахом, а так же поэкспериментировать с цветами.
Средний ценник вполне демократичен (30 рублей за 1 таблетку), и на первый взгляд, нет никакого смысла в самостоятельном изготовлении технопланктона. Но резон есть, особенно если на рыбалках бываете часто и подолгу.
Например, летом, за 1 световой день может уйти около 17-20 таблеток, при условии, что вы ловите одной снастью. Такая рыбалка уже немного бьет по карману.
Поэтому если есть время и желание, можно готовить искусственный планктон дома, чем я и занимаюсь.
Рецепты черпаю из интернета, а так же придумываю свои, экспериментируя с основным составом и добавками. И знаете, иногда получаются весьма интересные продукты.
Как поймать толстолобика: напоследок о главном
Толстолобик водится во многих водоемах. Вот только в одних он клюет, словно уклейка на хлебный мякиш, а в других водоемах поймать его практически нереально. С чем это связано, и где ловить, чтобы поймать?
Все очень просто: если в водоеме очень много планктона, пищевые потребности толстолобика удовлетворяются на все 200%, поклевку вам придется ждать долго (скорее всего, вы ее так и не дождетесь).
Определить водоемы с избыточным количеством фитопланктона можно по цвету воды.
Если она зеленая – не стоит даже распаковывать снасти . Ищите место, где вода не цветет. Вот там-то можно классно оторваться по лобатому.
На рыбалку можно ехать в одиночку, но лучше с товарищами-энтузиастами. Если повезет, и на крючке окажется трофей, весом более 10 кг (а такое бывает не так уж и редко), в одиночку справиться с рыбой будет проблематично. Лучше, чтобы на подхвате был напарник с подсаком или багром, который поможет достать лобатого на берег.
Как поймать толстолобика: если товарищ позвал на помощь, не срывайтесь с места в ту же секунду.
Если у него на крючке гигант, возиться он с ним будет долго. А вот если гигант клюнет у вас пока вы помогаете товарищу, то по возвращении на место можете просто не обнаружить своей снасти на берегу (особенно, если используете катушку без байтранера, либо ненароком забыли его включить).
Поэтому, перед тем как бежать «наподхват», вымотайте свои снасти из воды. Вроде бы сказал все, что хотел сказать.
